Ok this is a pretty dumb question and may be obvious to a lot out there but
work with me! <G>

If I'm painting an engine, assembling using lots of nice shiny new nuts,
bolts, washers etc. How do I go about painting these, I mean in what order?
Do I:

a) Hand paint each nut & bolt individually and then assemble (won't the
socket etc stuff the paint?)
b) Assemble with new bolts and nuts, clean and hand paint bolts, nuts etc
after assembly?
c) Assemble and paint motor - surely not? Gaskets getting paint on them etc?

I was considering using approach 'b' - but as usual I will submit to someone
elses better know how! <G> So fess up! <G>

BTW I got that Flywheel bolt off, thanks to Scotty's suggestion to use a
Metrinch socket. Worked perfectly, great things for rounded bolts. Didn't
have to go near a drill or a chisel (thank god, I still have my fingers!
*roflmao*)

Cheers,
Neil.
