Talking of strange tow vehicle combinations. The late Steve Willis who was
one of the owners of Scotland Yard in Denver, and of EX186, had a Varitone
Magnette that he was planning to use as a tow car. He had a spare twinkie
engine ready to go into it. That would have been a hoot. Towing a twin-cam
race car with a twin-cam Magnette.
I am putting a tow hitch on my V8 MGB just so I can flat tow my race car
with it at least once. I figure with flat towing I don't have to worry
about tongue weight.
