The folding hood as I understand it is very similar to the packaway; you
still have to attach the rear bar to the tonneau panel, do all the lift
the dots, etc.  You still have to roll it up to put it away, its just
that the frame and the roll are behind the seats instead of in the
trunk.  Might save 1 or 2 minutes.

The consensus seems to be that the early type of folding frame is not
one of England's finest creations, and not only that but the top for
it (which is different) is hard to source.  I'll stick with the packaway
frame.  If anyone really hates the packaway, go for the later type of
folding frame with the zip out rear window.  Nice feature, but less
headspace.

Besides, when I get my tools and spares organized, and I convert to bolt
on wheels (I'm going to use one of those half size spare wheels from
a Datsun in the boot), I should have a decent amount of space.  Hey at
least I don't have an MGA! ;)
