Similar problem. I could never understand why original road tests of the B
always commented on thighs hitting the steering wheel - until I replaced
cushions and diaphragms and gained the height that had been lost over the
years. The lack of thigh room was an almost universal beef in nearly every
old road test I've read. Most testers suggested a smaller steering wheel was
required.
My solution was simple - a 15" Wood rimmed MotoLita. Beautiful!!!
