Well,
here goes.
My engine died. The MG Shop guy says that some pistons are toast, and
most likely the head could be cracked. He doesn't want to rebuild it,
but wants to sell me another rebuilt for (drum roll) $2000.00 That's US
dollars.
NO, I don't think that is what I want to do.
So, I will be purchasing that engine Ray has for sale, and removing the
old one for rebuilding (hopefully).
What I am asking is for information and tips on the engine swap, and
what do throw away, keep, etc.
Should I remove bonnet? Should I do this, that, etc.?
Any literature I should investigate?
