Hi All,
Sorry to bomb the list with a non-MG question, but my old pontoon boat
needs some spucing up. I would like to paint its aluminum side panels. I was
thinking of using some steel wool and paint thinner to go over the existing
paint, to removed dirt, decals etc. but not really stripping down to bare
metal. I would like to paint it with Dupont Centari Enamel since that is what I
typically use.
My question is in regards to the primer. I would like to just use some
aerosol can type stuff as a matter of convinience. Maybe Krylon or Rustoleum?

Does anyone have an opinion or experience in similar situations? If so I'd like
to know. I was hoping I could do it as a week-end project. I'd rather spend
time restoring MG's not pontoons!!

TIA,
 Alan Pfau
