Works great as a rust preventing coating on pistols, but I don't 
think it will have any restorative powers in your engine. I certainly 
wouldn't put it in an overdrive gearbox. In a recently rebuilt drive 
train, I suspect you would be better off using something like Red 
Line synthetic motor oil (and a good oil filter -- not Fram), manual 
transmission fluid, and gear oil if you want to get away from Castrol 
for some reason.
