Ed how is it that you are such an ass?

My dad (Jim) and I have owned nearly 30 MGs and currently have about 15
between us. His point, is that the cars are damn reliable and if it
weren't for shitty mechanics they wouldn't have the poor reputation that
they have amongst the general public. For the 15 years I have been
working on these cars and god knows how many he has we have seen a LOT of
great reliable cars. I started restoreing my 71 roadster when I was 7
years old, and have less than $2k invested in it. I had no idea what I
was doing and that car has made it across the country nonstop numerous
times, if that isn't some sort of testament to a reliable car I don't
know what is. I don't mean to say that every MG is that realiable, I
suppose I may have gotten lucky, but the point was that MG's public
reputation of unreliablity preceeds the truth. I doubt many people would
disagree that american mechanics didn't know how to work on these cars
when they were new, and I would venture to say the people didn't know that
they needed a specialist. I don't know, I was born only a few months
before the B was discontinued, but I bet if MG had a policy like some of
the Japanese companies, or one like Mercedes. Then there would be a hell
of a lot more MG's on the road today. If your not familiar with what I am
talking about, buy a Mercedes or nice Jap car and then take it somewhere
other than the dealer for service and you can kiss your warrantee goodbuy,
because you will never get them to warantee anything for you, and god
forbid you did the work yourself because then you are hopeless if you need
dealer help.

There seems to be a trend here of you 'snapping' at someone everytime you
chose to respond to a message. Why don't you do the world a favor and
cheer up or shut up.
