I rented a trailer for 24 hours, from U-haul - about $75, I believe. You
might want to check one way rates, they are sometimes cheaper. If you do
get one of these, beware the clearance! The one I used had the number plate
in a ridiculous place, such that I had to reverse my '78 MGB onto the
trailer - a bundle of fun, as the handbrake was incorrectly installed, and
didn't work!

The other option, if the car has two good wheels (preferably on the same
axle :-) ) is to rent a dolly - most RV rental places should have them.
Biggest problem I had with one of these is that, when empty, it bounced,
and limits maximum speeds on bumpy roads. Don't know if the MGB is rated
for long distance towing with the drive wheels on the road - you can always
disconnect the drive shaft.
