The source is Advance Auto Parts. Fellow lister Matt Milkevitch who lived
nearby for several years deserves the credit for discovering this. '
Believe the price (last year) was like $39.95 US each - lifetime warrenteed
to the original purchaser. ' Don't know if Matt is still on the list. I
bought a pair for my '76 B last summer. I'm not plugging Advance Auto
parts and have no connection. When I first heard, I figured these might be
Beck Arnley - but they aren't and I can't remember what, if any, brand name
was on the boxes. Advance Auto is headquartered in Roanoke VA, but I
believe they have stores in all but the westernmost states of the US. I
don't know if they do business in Canada. These weren't in stock at my
local store, but they got 'em within a couple of days.
