Ah, the joys of owning an LBC! The first thing you should have learned is
that one thing ALWAYS leads to another. The next thing is that rust is aways
worse than it looks on the surface.
Do yourself and your car a favor, and spend the time to do it right. While
you have everything apart, I hear that battery boxes on As are notorius for
rust, so check that area out.
I don't have an A, but it sounds like you are having fun! IMO, the A is
probably the most beautiful MG ever made. Take care of it, Neil.
