Not really, the whole engine will just take longer to warm to operating temp.
In real life the situation would be the reverse, with the thermostat
operating the block and head warm before the thermostat opens thus allowing
cooler coolant to flow. This having become mixed with the warmer coolant
from the preheated block has little enough temperature differential to be
detrimental.
