79 B HP rating?

I was perusing an MG book at the local Barnes & Noble when I ran 
across a sentence proclaiming that the pollution-controlled MG 
engines had "considerably less than the original 95 HP."  If that's true, 
a V8 swap is starting to look a lot better...

Not being able to find a HP rating in my manuals, I was wondering:
What was the official HP rating for a 1979 MGB?
