Another even easier possibility is that something is amiss with your radiator
cap. Does it still have the rubber seal? Perhaps the tension of the spring
is shot. An easy and cheap trial is to replace the cap, but make sure you
get the proper cap for your year car. After that, the thermostat is another
good bet, and also usually cheap to replace. Be careful taking the housing
off that you don't break one of the studs.
