Rick n Jeff,

Early alchemist most obsessive task was to convert one metal to another
(lead to gold) buy means of a magic potion. Theoretically and practically
this can be done at an atomic level buy bumping electrons and other
subatomic particles from one element to transform it into another. Similar
to what happens in a nuclear plant with Uranium to Plutonium.

As far as a product that can add metal or form an alloy in a cold reaction?
I would have to read the chemistry to believe it. On top of that make it
weldable WOW!

Most products as Rick mentions stop rust by stopping the oxidation process.
The best products I've encountered react with Iron oxide to produce a zinc
phosphate layer. Main ingredient phosphoric acid.

Best cure for major rust is to remove it. Enrique
