The distributor ballast (external to the loom) is between the white and
white/blue, that circuit is not required at all for a 45D4/Pertronix system.

The white/black normally goes from distributor to coil -ve and from there to
the tach, you will not need the piece from distributor to coil with the
Pertronix..

One white/light-green comes from the coil ballast (inside the loom) to the
coil +ve and from there to the solenoid boost terminal, neither are required
with a 12v coil. The white from your three-pronged connector needs to go to
the coil +ve, the other two wires in that connector are not required.

The Pertronix black goes to the coil -ve and the red to the coil +ve as you
say.
