There's a guy up the street from me selling a "slightly" rusted MGB. I
stopped to look at it and noticed he had a hard top in the back yard. A
couple of bills changed hands, and I'm the owner of a Dyna-plastics hard
top.

It was missing the side windows, so while I was waiting for the paint to
dry, I picked up a sheet of plexi-glass. I managed to cut windows to fit,
and easily glued them in place. The back glass was in good shape, but it
was missing the weatherstripping across the bottom. A trip to Pep Boys
cured that.

So now, for around a $100, I have a hard top. It makes the car a lot less
noisy and is far more weatherproof that I could ever hope for my soft top to
be.

Does anyone else have a "DynaPlastic" hard top? It looks like it was
designed so the rear window could be slid out, is this correct?

Oh yeah, I was tempted to paint the union jack on the hard top for a
distinctive look, but I settled for black instead. I must be getting old.
