Andrew,
There is no lever or switch to operate on the headrests.
You just pull them upwards or push them down.
Even with new rollers installed and headrest stems slightly greased
they still manage to bind once in a while.
Be careful not to brake the plastic pads on the headrest cushion underside
when trying to pull them up.
