Believe it or not, this note is about LBCs, not F1 racing. :-P
Last weekend, my kids and I got the front bonnet back on our
B-GT. Things are starting to look pretty good. I still have to
figure out why the front carb is running WAY too lean but I am
almost sure that that is a blockage in the connection between the
jet pipe and the float bowl. That connection has been problematic
since the restoration began. From there, I can balance the carbs,
tweak the mixtures, adjust the timing and tear around the block!
No wait! It would be good if I put the bonnet latch back on first!
:-P Close, getting SO close...
