What you are obviously unaware of, Barney, is that the Riley does not use the 
B series axle that your MGA does. It uses the A series like a Midget, but 
with even longer axles, which is why they snap like celery sticks when asked 
to deal with any additional torque. That's why I suggested the change to a B 
series axle, notwithstanding the inconvenience of the different bolt pattern.

And you are right - I was sloppy - I meant that the pins were different on 
the early flywheel, not the bolt pattern.
