Becky:

On some early MGB's the top, hood, was dissasembled and stored in
the boot.  The fabric hood was one piece, and the bows cam apart
in the middle like a curtain rod.

Some early MGB's also used a stowable hood where the fabric came
off but the bows were left attached to the body like the MGA's
do.
