Yup, I was wondering the same thing. I knew they were direct as they showed
up in my inbox rather than my MG mailbox, which is where all the list mail
goes.
Funny though, I have not gotten any on this PC (in the garage) and I use a
yahoo email address for this one. My other PC with an ameritech address is
the one that got them....hmmm, since this machine is strictly for MG
correspondence I may be able to track him down from the other mail
sent/received on the other machine.

I have not received an attachment from Troutman, but have had a few with the
jibberish in the body of the message.

I suspect you are probably right. Certainly a virus of some kind.
