Jim, that got me thinking.  Joe Curry on the Spitfire list mounted a Honda
VTEC engine in his autocross Spitfire... first outing wasn't successful
though, engine malfunction light came while he was waiting in the queue.  He
used a motor from an S2000, presumably because of the performance levels and
the 6spd gearbox.  Using an S2000 motor one would get about 120hp/liter...
