More to add to the previous post about the right coil.
I just pulled and cleaned up the coil that was in the MGB. It appears that
this is a Lucas SA 12. All of the references say I should have a Lucas HA
12. What's the difference? It is much bigger than the coil I bought to
replace it, and it barely fit on the mounting bracket without interfering
with the oil lines to the cooler. A matter of fact, they had to only use
one bolt on the ring and stand this up to make it work?
