I thought the tonneau bars were meant to keep the top cover (1/2 tonneau)
from sagging in the middle....Oh well, live and learn. By the way, my 30
lb(!) Norwegian Forest cat has developed a certain fondness for the tonneau
and topcovers, he uses them as a 'hammock', and justs lies there all day
basking in the sun. And when I put up the hood, well...he just stretches out
between the front of hood and the 1st. cross bar. It too makes a nifty
'hammock'.... I just hope he doesn't start to scratch and claw the items as
the cats have been known to do!!
