As normal I have turned a simple operation into a major project. As I was
changing the thermostat I stripped the threads on one of the studs. Now the
problem. I ordered new studs from Moss but the threads, block side, do not
match the stud I've removed (5/16" - 18?). Anyone know what the proper
thread is? The threads on the old stud is course and the Moss studs have a
fine thread. What's correct? The Moss studs are also about 1/4 inch shorter.
