The stock horns on my 69 B would wake the dead, have a sweet sound,
too. Low voltage to the horns (2 of 'em) may be causing the anemic
sound output; mine would barely tootle when I got the car. Make sure
all the connections in the horn circuits are clean. You can test the
horns individually by running a wire directly from a good voltage source
- a brown wire at the fuse block - to each horn in order to see if it
toots louder.
