Around here (Puget Sound) when it snows, at least 2/3 of the
vehicles you see stuck in the ditch the next day are 4WD.
4WD is a useful feature, but it doesn't repeal the laws of
Newtonian physics. I usually avoid driving in the snow
because of the other drivers. I'm forever ending up behind
someone who thinks you can climb a hill at 5 MPH, or in
front of someone who thinks you should drive just like you
would on dry pavement.
