Vac. Advance question...

Where do I connect the vacuum advance hose from the distributor?  A friends car 
has the hose just lying there, all the carb ports are capped  The carbs are 
HS4's.  The advance holds vacuum so I want to hook it up.  My car has the 
Mallory dist with no Vacuum adv. so I have no reference.
