If you haven't solved the problem, and need a quick short term fix, there
is a free solution.
Our club newsletter was created in Publisher, as well, but the editor
didn't have any way to create a PDF. And I, as web host don't have
Publisher (since it is not made for the Mac.) As a work-around, he
subscribed to Adobe's six free PDF conversions. Then when that ran out, I
subscribed for six more. You just send the Publisher file, and a few
minutes later, a PDF comes back!
Since then, I've become editor, and the new Mac OS X has PDF creation
built into every print dialog box, so we don't need the Adobe conversions
anymore.
