Hi Monte,

1. Connect a fused 12v supply to it and operate the turn signals. If that
side lights (they won't flash) that is the turn flasher wire and the other
is the hazards. If nothing happens when you operate the turn switch cancel
it and operate the hazard switch. If all four corners light it is the
hazard flasher wire.

2. Really only by substitution, but a turn flasher has continuity between
the two terminals, the hazard flasher doesn't.

3. The hazard flasher is probably the larger unit. Any writing on them?
The turn flasher might say something like 42 watts and the hazards double
that or more.

If the radio is the type that loses its channels if power is lost it should
have a fused memory wire as well as a fused operate wire. The memory wire
should go to the brown or purple, the other one to the white/green.

Cheers,
Paul.
