Dan,
I agree with the others. I'd go for the "trick" knock-off MiniLite replicas.
Unfortunately, I also agree they are prohibitively expensive. Moss sells them
for $299.95 each ($1199.80) Victoria British has them at $1099.95 for a set of
4 and The Proper MG is the cheapest at $959.80 a set.

OK, now I'm no expert, but to convert to disc wheels it looks like you will at
least need 2 new rear hubs ($120 ea. from Moss), plus 2 new front hubs ($130
ea. from VB), plus 16 studs ($64), 16 lug nuts ($32), 2 front grease caps
($20). Oh, and while you have it all apart you might as well do the front and
rear wheel bearings too (about $45).

Anyway, I'm up to approx. $661, not counting shipping and your labor. So,
unless you are getting those MiniLites for less than $50 a piece you're going
to be out around $800 for your conversion.

However, like I said, I'm no expert. Maybe I'm way off on this and other more
knowledgeable listers may have better advice and suggestions. Here's one more
thought for you: Why not buy and resell those MiniLites (eBay?) and use the
money towards the knock-offs? Way cool!
