Marking the shaft and slip joint is a good idea; but, if you inspect the
drive shaft very carefully you'll see a very faint arrow stamped in the
shaft and the slip joint.  Once located you should line up the arrows upon
re-assembly.  You may find it has been assembled incorrectly in the past.
