Have you checked the spare?

I currently have XZXs on my '77. 175R14. Are those 70 series?
But the spare is a 165R14. Not Michelin, I don't remember what it
is. I think that's the original for the car.

I'm getting 5 new tires. Kumhos from Tire Rack, in 185/70 guise.

Your's is an LE right? That may have had the bigger tires.
