And if you are using the full tonneau cover to cover the cockpit these tubes
(or more correctly tonneau 'sticks') positioned *in front* of the seats will
lift the centre of the cover so that any rain runs off and doesn't pool in
the middle to drip through the zip.  They are used behind the seats when the
cover is used just as a hood cover and clipped to the heel-board.  There
should be rectangular sockets where the hood frame bolts to the car body for
these to slot into.  'Ovulation' is something completely different ...
