Speedo Head Right Angle DriveShould be.  It's probably about 1.5" or so from
memory i.e. the grommet has to be big enough to get the knurled end of the
cable through it, which makes the hole itself seem oversize.  Again from
memory there is only one hole in that area, several smaller ones higher up
though.

Yes, right-angle drive points across car, but as to the exact routing it will
be whatever gives the easiest curves and still reaches the gearbox!

      So it supposed to come out of the right angle drive pointed towards the
right side of the car.  Then run behind and below the dash vents ??
