I get 24MPG around town on the 79B (desmogged and HIF fitted; mostly daily
driver) and around 27 on the highway at 65-70MPH.
Twice I've had the stock 67B on trips of over 2000 miles and averaged
between 27 and 28 MPG at 70MPH.
Neither car has overdrive.

Several times a year I drive my OD equipped '72 GT on 315 mile, each
direction, trips. Door to door times are usually 315 minutes, so
averaging 60 mph. This is all interstate 95, running at indicated 3000
rpm and indicated 66 mph.
Since I still record mileage, gallons, amount paid and price at each
fillup (hoping that the Feds will once again allow a credit for state
taxes on fuel, it is easy to calculate fuel consumption for trips. 33
mpg on this run.
I will work up annual fuel consumption figures for you and post
later.
Bob
