No (just to be different). Remove the large rubber plug from the firewall
and use wobble extensions to undo the hydraulic fastening. The mounting
bolts and hydraulic fastening for the master are a fiddle, it is a matter of
slim fingers and patience with spanners. Many have said the joint between
the clutch metal pipe and flex hose is difficult, although those comments
related to the 4-cylinder, my V8 was no problem. Bleeding the clutch is
tricky, in fact I didn't even try it, but filled the empty system using a
Gunsons EeziBleed on very low pressure connected to the slave nipple till I
could see fluid in the master, then topped off as normal. Got the required
1/2" to 5/8" of travel of the slave push-rod immediately with no bleeding at
all. Empty the old master through the slave nipple first, adding more clean
fluid until it runs clean, to flush out the metal pipe.
