My thanks to all that responded to this question. I think I will postpone
this purchase until Harbour Frieght runs the Hobart welder on sale ...like
they did last fall...and I will buy the best 115 volt model I can afford.
I'm so busy with other projects right now I think a welder would only sit in
the corner of the garage and take up space anyway. But like all other
tools, I WANT ONE.
I may head down with my 10% off coupon and buy the self darkening helmet
anyway as it's on sell this week and would be about half price with the
coupon....and may be an air sander, and some nylon straps, and , and,
and......
