To be fair, I think a lot of people use the term loosely to refer to the
structural members including the points of attachment of the springs and
suspension, as opposed to exterior sheetmetal, and are not actually claiming
that there is a separate "frame". There is an operational difference between
rusted doglegs and bent spring hangers, for instance. But it is true that
these same people often fail to realize that the rockers are a structural
area where MGBs are concerned.
