The genny on my 67 redcar went out a couple of years ago and I replaced it
with the alt off the 69 yellow car. I don't know what amperage it was, I'm
not running a carnival in the boot or an urban sound system, and it works
just fine. I did have to move the coil to the wheel well and invent a
spacer to bolt it on, but Moss now sells a kit to avoid the bodging.
Whatever the amperage was for the later chrome cars should do you up right.
can't tell you what the numbers are right now 'cause it's 1 am and the
car's outside and I'm not, but it's a stock '69 alternator.
