There is a product called 303 which is meant to be much better than 
Armoral and the other silicone type products.  Apparently vinyl has 
to breathe and silicone stops that.  I went to buy the stuff from 
local retailer who said I had to enter my info into their computer - 
I said no - here's my money give me the 303.  Chap said could not do 
that - I had to go on their data base. So I walked out.   Maybe it 
was a screwed up shop assistant.
The auto-shop here that specialises in vinyl covered car roofs and 
interiors says just wash with water and a tiny amount of liquid 
detergent.  Same advice from Prestige Auto-Trim
