Paul, the idea of brake fluid being pulled into the carb is interesting - h=

I am running the automatic water choke on the Z-S carb. I do have a manual =
choke conversion kit I was thinking of installing.

My first thought is that the power brake diaphragm broke and you are suckin=
g break fluid into the carb.
Plugs look really rich. =C2=A0Do you have a manual choke or the automatic w=
ater choke? That could be gummed up as well.

I've replaced spark plugs and distributor rotor, as well as cleaned the con=
tacts in the plug leads. Just installed a new electronic fuel pump as the o=
ld one crapped out. Lines are clearand fuel filter fills nicely. Carb was r=
ebuilt about 4 years ago and before the car died on me last year, the car r=
an very well. I did open it up to check the diaphragm and floats, they are =
fineand the carb was clean inside. Car has about gas, most from last year b=
ut with 2 gallons from today added.
I did not try to drive it as the brakes need to be bled....
I've changed jobs recently and now have time to get this car back on the ro=
ad and need some help as to where to start....
