I've heard nothing but good about Pertronics, it improved my Sprites
performance. BUT, I've heard you can kill them by leaving the ignition on too
long without the engine running. It does hurt to have the old parts in your
car just in case.

I'm pleased to see all the positive comment on Petronix. I had one set on
my MGB GT and after 3 years the car started to miss so I removed it and went
back to points. When it worked it was great. I also bought a set for my
MGB Roadster and installed it but it never worked. So I have 2 sets and
both don't seem to work. Is there anyway of testing them to see if they are
functional because I'd like to reinstall them if possible.
