The Water Wetter should help keep the coolant temperature under the
thermostat's rating, or at least lower if the temp goes beyond the rating. If
you have a 180 degree stat and the temp creeps up to 200, under the same
conditions the Water Wetter might keep it down to 190 or so. And you are
correct, the stat only cares about temp. So WW won't make the coolant run at
170 degrees with a 180 stat.

Not sure I get it.
Based on what a thermostat is suppose to do, I would think water wetter
would have no effect. The thermostat doesn't care what's in the water, only
the temp...correct? Or are you talking relative to over heating?
