I'm with Mark on this.  People die this way.  I'm sure you can set it up so 
that no exhaust leaks...  now.  But give it some time to corrode, get 
bumped into and who knows what.  This is not something I would want to bet 
my life on.  Build a secure enclosure for the generator outside.
