I'm having a pier and grade beam foundation poured for my new house and
[sadly, itty bitty for now] garage and the guys doing this part have one
that looks like this on steroids. They had a big truck mounted drilling rig
dig them (14" diameter, depths ranged from 12 to 15 feet) and have the
digger for cleaning out minor cave-ins. It looks like it will go at least
18 feet deep with a 12" min diameter. Love those specialized tools.
