Easy fix, get a large piece of carpet  (big enough to have both ramps on
and the rear tires on.)

the put the ramps on one end and drive over the carpet and ramps.

Note, this gives you a carpet to work on (may be better or worst.)  If you
want, just cut long strips of carpet.  Just as wide as the ramps and only
enough to go under the ramps and the drive wheels of the cars.

IMHO, buy a car lift.  They are the coolest thing!!  (I can't believe how
many times I life up cars "just to check the underside" since I put it in!
