If it was a Lotus Europa like I used to have, it would be polyester.  :-)

I don't pretend to have done it right, but I at least left a solid base for
future workers, who should not have to rip out my repairs.

BTW, be sure to wear a good respirator when cutting, sanding and filing on
fiberglass.  Don't want those fibers in your lungs.
