You could pour fine sand in the gap between post and concrete. Whack the po=
st to settle it and follow with water to compact it. I=E2=80=99ve set posts=
using beach sand and they were rock-solid for at least 5 years.

Folks, I have a 4 foot high cedar wood fence in bad shape that I need to fi=
x. While I will replacing the rails and pickets with new wood the posts app=
ear to be in good condition, ie: no rot, except for the fact they are set =
in concrete and the posts have shrunk a bit so the posts are loose on the c=
oncrete.
What would be the easiest way to firm up the posts in those holes?=20
I=E2=80=99m only looking for a fix that will last 5 or so years.
